Kambô

Kambô is a traditional Amazonian medicine made from the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog. Applied to small burns on the skin, this secretion activates a powerful physical purge — and much more.

Known for its intensity, Kambô is not a gentle remedy. But in its depth lies a quiet kind of wisdom. It clears. It strengthens. It reorders. Physically, emotionally, energetically. It helps the body remember how to release.

At Infinity Retreat, Kambô is offered with care and intention — often in the morning before the first Ayahuasca ceremony. This initial cleansing can ease the path for what’s to come, reducing the need for physical purging later and helping the Ayahuasca work with more clarity and gentleness.

Toward the end of a retreat, Kambô may also serve to stabilize. Especially when there’s little time between the final ceremony and the return to the outside world, it helps close the field. Grounding the nervous system. Harmonizing and protectingthe body’s magnetic field.

The effects of Kambô are both immediate and lasting. Many report mental clarity, emotional reset, and a sense of inner recalibration. It can support immunity, mood regulation, and temporary resistance to fatigue or distraction. In the days and weeks that follow, it often leaves behind a quiet strength.

Over time, regular Kambô work may help address deeper layers of imbalance, whether physical, emotional, or energetic. The medicine is cumulative. The more gently it’s met, the more deeply it can reach.
